El graffiti como medio de expresión y su incidencia en la opinión ciudadana Latacungueña

Abstract

Worldwide, graffiti is considered an artistic expression capable of visually communicating the thoughts and feelings of the urban writer, expressing disagreements, inequalities and even injustices of a society, therefore, it is related to rebellion and vandalism to the be an illegal activity. The main objective is to analyze the incidence of graffiti in Latacungueña citizens. This research was developed through descriptive and field research, using a qualitative and quantitative analysis approach, applying surveys. structured interviews with 300 people between 25 and 55 years of age and semi-structured interviews with 3 professionals in the area (graffiti artists). The results obtained determine graffiti as a communication tool recognized in the majority of society as negative, as an act of vandalism that does not contribute to the development of a population. Faced with this reality, social communication and graffiti are sought to function as an effective tool for those who seek to achieve some effect on the recipients, through processes of socialization to professionals in graffiti.
